What is This
This is the journal of Tarynnia, the Unadventurous Dragonborn, an ordinary Nord woman just trying to make it in Skyrim. Tarynnia is not interested in glory, heroics, or thrilling adventures. She just wants to earn an honest living, and maybe settle down one day.
Here are the rules to which I am adhering with this character:
Tarynnia may not voluntarily undertake a task that carries a significant risk of death, injury, or incarceration. That is, of course, beyond the baseline level of risk that one takes simply by being a resident of Skyrim.

Specifically, she will not go poking about in tombs, caves, or Dwemmer ruins. She will not engage in criminal behavior. She will not hunt down and eliminate a group of bandits for somebody, or recover an artifact stolen by a cult of necromancers.
If it could be called adventurous or daring, she's not into it.
That said, Skyrim is Skyrim, a dangerous place at the best of times. Tarynnia's choice to forego necessary risk is born of her practical-minded sensibility, not of cowardice. She will not provoke a fight, but when attacked by wild animals, briggands, or other hostiles, she will do whatever is reasonable -- running away if feasible, fighting back if necessary.
Tarynnia does not know the future. She can agree to help someone out with an errand or simple task when danger is not apparent, even if I, as the player, know it leads to dangerous situation. If a reasonable citizen of Skyrim would suspect the task to be dangerous, then she must demure.
Tarynnia does not use fast travel. This play-through is about making it in Skyrim as an ordinary woman, and being magically whisked across the map with no possibility of interacting with anything is not consistent with that.
